No syrup ever?!

​One morning, Mooch sat down with a stack of fluffy cakes.

Dibs reached for the syrup.

Mooch froze.

Very slowly…
he slid the syrup bottle away.

“New rule,” he squeaked.
“No syrup near breakfast.”

Dibs blinked.

“Why?”

Mooch looked at the syrup bottle…
then back at Dibs.

“Let’s just say…” he squeaked,
“I’ve had a very sticky experience before.”

Dibs nodded his head.

“That’s okay,” he said with a smile.
“If you ever get stuck in your fluffy cakes…”

He puffed a tiny bubble.

“I’ll save you again.”

Mooch paused…

“…maybe just a little syrup,” he grinned.
